This year’s Roast will take place on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Victoria Inn in Thunder Bay, tickets are $125. Since 2003, the Easter Seals Celebrity Roast has raised over $590,000, with proceeds going to help families of children with physical disabilities across Ontario. Past honorees include: Tom Jones, Gordon Crompton, Cliff Friesen, Dr. Stewart Kennedy, Colin Bruce, John Trevisanutto, Bill McCracken, Jack Mallon, Michael Power and Trevor Mikus, Roberta Sawchyn and Bruno Niederer, Kathy Harris and Clint Harris and Vince Mirabelli.
For the past 95 years, Easter Seals Ontario has offered programs and services to help children and youth with physical disabilities from all ethnic and religious backgrounds achieve a greater level of acceptance and independence. Easter Seals provides financial assistance for the purchase of costly mobility equipment and communication devices. Easter Seals also owns and operates two fully accessible camp properties, one in London and the other near Perth, Ontario, and is recognized as an industry leader in providing specialized camping and recreation programs for kids with physical disabilities. Since the age of 6, Jennie has known there was a whole other “world” out there. Not until her early thirties was she ready to embrace and share with others the connection she has. As a student of Arthur Findlay College in England, she has spent time working and studying with the top Mediums from all over the world. Jennie strives to always challenge herself and her connection with Spirit to know that what, and how she delivers messages is from hard work, constant learning, and the passion for others to always be the best she can be.
If there is one thing Jennie is often told from audiences, it is that she is authentic and the “real deal”. An evening of live readings can consist of both psychic and mediumship messages. When you receive a reading from Jennie, it is a dance of energy you share with her, and during that dance, Spirit will give you what is needed. Readings during a live event happen randomly and although not everyone receives a direct reading that night, she is confident that everyone leaves with their own message from spirit.
Jennie continues to have amazing opportunities throughout her walk with Spirit. She has lent a hand in solving homicide cases, working closely with authorities to be able to give grieving families the closure they needed and helping to put away the “bad guy”. Kelly Taylor has performed at Montreal's Just for Laughs Comedy Festival as well as ones in Halifax, Winnipeg, Edmonton & Vancouver. He has entertained the Canadian troops overseas three times including once by demand for the Minister of Defense and the Governor General of Canada. He has a one hour CTV Comedy Now special that can still be seen on the Comedy Network. He is scheduled to be a lead actor in a film being shot in NYC, so look for him on the big screen shortly.
For over thirty years Dwight Slade has been entertaining audiences all over North America and the world. He was the winner of the prestigious Boston Comedy festival and has made appearances on Comedy Central, Just for Laughs and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He can currently be seen in the film, "Rid of Me" which is available for streaming on Netflix.
John Wing's comedy career spans over two decades and includes six Tonight Shows, nine Just for Laughs Comedy festivals, and over 150 television appearances. He can be heard on CBC radio's The Debaters, and is a contributor to Definitely Not The Opera. In 2013 John performed on NBC's America's Got Talent, going all the way to the semi-finals. His shows included performances at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles, the Planet Hollywood Theater in Las Vegas, and two shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Styles & Smiles is a unique evening that combines a symposium and luxury raffle with a 5-course dinner, fashions and comedic entertainment.
This year's theme is "An Excellent Night on the Silver Screen". Giving attendees the choice to walk the red carpet as their favourite movie star or character or just come as themselves. Dressing up and playing a part is absolutely optional. Stars and characters can be from any movie and any era.
