Tumblestone 2023

Tumblestone Gorham, ON, Canada

After a long wait, we're ready to start to get the stone rolling...and would like to welcome you all back to Tumblestone on
Friday August 25th & Saturday 26th.
Tumblestone Music & Art Festival 2023:
A 2-day Independent Artist-run Multi-Genre Music and Art Festival, featuring/showcasing the most important acts/musicians/bands/artists this region has to offer.
The festival is held in Gorham, ON (Lappe) (20 minutes north of Thunder Bay), and is named after its rocky terrain.
Our eclectic programming is reflected in our increasingly diverse audience, ranging from artists, musicians, and young families, to seniors.
Our focus has always been on our local acts, and we pride ourselves on featuring the highest number of local/ underrepresented/New Generation artists on stage compared to other Thunder Bay festivals.
We strongly support new generation artists and those that don’t fit into genre specific lineups, and we have done what we can to support artists that struggle in our remote region of Northern Ontario, with little to no access to opportunities for their respective niches.
Just like every year previously; We strive for excellence in every way, and will no doubt have the best/ the most unique/ varied line-up that we can arrange/put together, and curated carefully...paying close attention to the the vibe and flow of the event.
* The first wave of bands/performers/artists/acts will soon be announced and added...Stay tuned!!!!!!!!
*We will also soon announce (and add) the 2023 sponsors (*to date/and as they confirm)
Despite all the hurdles/complications with just trying to get by/run the last couple of years..., and (still) navigating in a Post pandemic climate...we have been working ourselves ragged to put together all the pieces for one hell of an event, and have some surprises in store as well.
We are saddened to say we will not be doing a pig/potluck dinner this year either (as it's too hard to facilitate properly, especially in this climate) We are looking into Food options( but nothing to report as of yet)
Although things might be/look slightly different this year... it most likely will be similar to last year's layout... but will surely have the same vibe/feel that everyone expects/has come to love.
Since we are running behind, and our web/store isn't ready/ tickets aren't printed/ and/or we don't have the luxury of time to do/deal with mailing/ pick-ups/etc... We will use the system we did last year.
*Entry can be secured by donation via e-transfer to

We have had great vibes every year and we would like to keep that energy flowing.
Tumblestone is a family-friendly event and kids get in free but we suggest that it might be the best if the kids are gone before dark, as the vibe tends to change a bit/get a little rowdier in the evening.
