THE ADVENTURERS SOCIETY: A Musical Expedition

Trinity United Church 30 Algoma St S, Thunder Bay, ON, Canada

The Confederation College Performing Arts Club presents their annual lip-synced musical.  After a Covid-19 related hiatus, FOLLIES returns with an all new adventure, on new dates February 25th and 26th, 2022 at the Trinity Hall.  Tickets are $20 each or free for College Rec Association Members and Confederation College Students.
In a world not so very different from our own, but powered by retrofuturistic technology and filled with aesthetics inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery and Victoriana, our hostesses the Steam Pump Sirens welcome us to the world and tell us the history of The Adventurers Society, a group of explorers of science, literature, history and technology, a confederacy of bright lights who seek to develop and create while protecting the past. They are fiercely loyal and dedicated to protecting the world’s assets and resources, and keeping dangerous technology out of the hands of those who would use it to do harm. A new power has arisen and has begun to unite the globe with technology and might, under the banner of the Unified Kingdoms of Colvale. The technology and secrets that The Adventurers Society has striven to protect have been perverted and used for conquest. Who but the Adventurers Society could resist this scourge?
This mechanical and musical adventure is fun for the whole family! Get them now, before they are gone!
