In Support of the �New Shelter House� construction, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 207 Brodie St S. (across from City Hall) is hosting Flipper Flanagan�s Flat Footed Four�s concert, celebrating the release of their new CD, �Damn Big Lake�.
Show time is Thursday, November 3, 2005, 7 pm at St. Andrews. ALL ticket sale profits go directly to build the New Shelter House Kitchen, a $40,000 project, supported by the four Presbyterian Churches in Thunder Bay.
Flipper Flanagan�s Flat Footed Four, after nearly 40 years of versatile folk, Celtic and Bluegrass music, is as culturally significant to Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario, as Persians and the Hoito! �Damn Big Lake� , Flipper�s new CD, culminates a recording project of songs, about their home town, and their quirky view of life!
Tickets are $10, and are available at St Andrew�s, Coran�s Music Centre and Shelter House.
