Hello everyone! On April 21, I will be performing the last concert of my undergraduate degree alongside my collaborative pianist, Derek Oger. The program features solo Romantic works by Ravel, Schumann and Rossini as well as a duet featuring Emily Skinner, mezzo soprano. I will be accepting donations for Alzheimer's Society Thunder Bay and if you would like to donate prior to the concert the link to do so will be posted below. I look forward to sharing this milestone with you! Thank you so much.

Twisted Garland – Lieder von der Haus: Songs of the House

St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church 207 Brodie St S, Thunder Bay, ON, Canada

Come join Jared Hynnes, Baritone and Derek Oger, Pianist for an evening of Art Songs and a World Premiere titled "Twisted Garland"; the poet being Amy Lowell (1874-1925) and composer Jared W. Hynnes. She was a lesbian American poet, who was a member of the Imagist school of poets. She posthumously won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1926.
The program will also feature Baroque arias, Schubert, Brahms and Ralph Vaughan Williams and Chopin Nocturne op. 27 no. 2 in Dflat major.
Admission is $15 suggested donation and all proceeds will go to Shelter House Thunder Bay. There is a reception to follow in the church hall.
The concert is being held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian on the corner of Brodie and Donald, right beside City Hall.

ORAS Chamber Choir: Fauré Requiem

St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church 207 Brodie St S, Thunder Bay, ON, Canada

The ORAS Chamber Choir presents their first concert of the 2015-2016 season on Friday, October 30th at 8:00 PM. In this concert, the OCC will explore the profound intimacy and human tragedy of death expressed in the music of Fauré's Requiem. Also included in the program are works by Byrd, Gjeilo, and Rautavaara. This concert will be the first of three this season featuring unique, but related, Requiems.
