Mark Menei: Mark was named ‘Best Comedian’ in the Walleye magazine and can be seen locally in commercials for The Power Centre when not headlining private and public shows. Mark is a high energy comic who integrates the crowd into all of his performances so expect the unexpected every time he hits the stage. Mark is also the owner of Campfire Comedy and continues to grow the brand and bring top notch entertainment to his home town of Thunder Bay.

Lee Noyes: Better known as the “Pass Lake Princess”, Lee has been bringing laughs to the crowds of Thunder Bay for years and her ‘don’t take any shit’ attitude will have you on the edge of your seat.

What do you get when you cross a philosopher with an ex convict? Mark Hughes!

Mark uses his sardonic wit and fearless stage presence to share (and overshare) his perspective and life experiences – including the demons that sometimes still affect him to this day. Winner of Vancouver’s Best Comedian 2020 he now lives in the UK.
Mark is also the host of the podcast, “Pulling The Trigger,’ where he interviews interesting, unusual, and controversial people.

DYLAN GOTT: Dylan Gott has performed in 21 countries across the globe, been nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award, appeared on Comedy Central and Viceland UK in ‘Bobby and Harriet are Getting Married, performed at prestigious comedy festivals such as JFL42, North By Northeast, had his own televised special on iChannel called No Kidding and hosted his own radio show on SiriusXM Radio ‘The Sport Brahs’.

MITCH VK: Mitch has worked with Canadian icons like Spencer “Spenny” Rice and members of The Trailer Park Boys. Mitch builds worlds within his comedy that allows him to use his zany, eccentric style to tackle real-life issues. His ability to add a splash of fun into the mundane paired with his dynamic stage presence captivates young and old audiences alike. Mitch is 1/2 of the comedy promotional duo “The Giggle Boys”.
AARON STEPHENSON: Aaron recently won Yuk Yuks “(Virtually) a Comedian” online contest and now co-produces monthly comedy shows with The Giggle Boys at select Ontario breweries.
TYLER SHAZMA: Tyler is a Canadian Stand Up Comedian and Filmmaker. As a stand up, Shazma has risen through the ranks becoming a trusted act opening for passing through shows like MTVs Jackass, Andy Kindler and Jeremy Hotz after being awarded Brantford Comedy Festivals rising star competition in 2014. Tyler is a regular at the Cottage Country Comedy Festival and has toured across the country. Shazma writes, produces and directs the hit Bell Fibe Tv show “This is the Thing” now in its second season. Check Tyler Shazma out, he will not disappoint.”

Foundry Weekly Wednesday Trivia: Cards Against Humanity

Back by popular demand, for our next installment of Weekly Wednesday Night Trivia on January 18th we’re running a Cards Against Humanity Game Night!Instead of getting creative with trivia questions, we want to see how creative YOU can be with your answers. We’ll be giving out the white cards to teams over the course of 3 rounds, and reading the black cards to you from the stage. Your job is going to be to pick your best cards, and with the help of our guest comedy judges, we’re going to see who can get the most creative / offensive.
And between rounds we’ve got Mark Menei from Campfire Comedy doing stand up!Registration at 7:30pm, game time at 8:00pm

Stand Up Comedy ft Bobby Knauff

Headliner Bio
Bobby Knauff: Originally from Thunder Bay, Bobby Knauff moved to Toronto in 2006 to pursue comedy. Since moving, Bobby has performed on The Fresh Meat Showcase at The Second City, NXNE Music & Comedy Fest, JFL42, was a semi finalist in SiriusXM Canada’s Next Top Comic (2013), won the 2012 Toronto Comedy Brawl and has toured across Canada with Yuk Yuks. In May, 2020 Bobby put out his first comedy album “Rock Bottom”, available everywhere.
Bobby can also be seen in numerous commercials, guest roles on television and can be heard as a voice actor in cartoons. He is also one half of the sketch duo “The Two Sues” with Josh Stone, and is a puppeteer with his puppet buddy Andre. Bobby now resides in Ottawa, enjoys talking about his minor accomplishments in the third person and also enjoys the company of cats over people.

MOMologues 2: Off to School

Lunches packed? Backpacks organized? Permission slips signed? Arrange a babysitter so you can spend a night out at Cambrian Players? That last one may want to be at the top of the to-do list.
Cambrian Players proudly present MOMologues 2: Off the School by Lisa Rafferty, Stefanie Cloutier, and Sheila Eppolito, directed by Nathalie Roy. Spend a night out with the girls from your Mommy and Me groups. Maybe the PTA. How about your yoga class? Or you can drag your husband along for a night of stories about the parenting adventures told by the matriarchs that keep the kids going.
Everything from devouring parenting books to navigating play dates to the dreaded talk about birds and bees is told with a spin that any mom, whether new, seasoned, young, or old, can enjoy and relate to.
MOMologues 2: Off the School runs May 3rd to 6th and 10th to 14th at the Cambrian Players Theatre on 818 Spring Street. May 4th is a BOGO ticket night (perfect for bonding with your mother-in-law). May 14th, Mother’s Day, is a matinee and tea (for those moms really looking to impress). Tickets are $20 for students and seniors, $25 for general admission, and the matinee tea is $35 per ticket.
