Thanks to Tyler of Better Dayz Productions TokyoPop+Shock just got bigger with God Made Me Funky.
God Made Me Funky (GMMF) is a Funky live 10 member ensemble, out of Toronto, comprised of a diverse array of musicians ranging from classically trained Jazz artists to street schooled Hip-Hop & R&B vocalists, all of which share the bond of moving crowds and bringing the Nu-Funk in to the next level. Nominated for a 2007 Indie Award and are signed to Maple-Nationwide/Universal Music. Were named the #1 urban band at North By North East, played Canadian Music
Week#1 on CBC R-30 Radio Charts, Videos on Much Music and yes that Pure Filter Milk campaign. “You Got Milk” ChartAttack gives them a 95 and says if you can’t dance to GMMF you can’t dance. Doing original funk and some of their own versions of covers by James
Brown, Prince, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. GMMF and 24 additional acts, this is impressive!
