I play guitar, sing and write songs. I have had the pleasure of playing 1000’s of shows with Jeff Heisholt (Trews, BNB, Peter Elkas), Jeremy Little (Jason Collett) and Gavin Maguire (Dearly Beloved) in a little band called Burt Neilson Band. In that time we toured Canada more times than I can remember. I also recall some fond memories of the U.S.A. Lately, well I have been preparing to get back on the road. I just finished a record with my good friend Billy Manzik, which was produced by Chris Wardman (tragically Hip, Emme Gryner, Randy Bachman and so on). And I continue to work on my debut solo release called chinese democracy (kidding, but it feels as if its taking as long) What’s next? Well, a tour to the east coast in April and then a tour to the west in may…i see a trend developing here…a familiar one…hmmm
