ABOUT US ~ What does the fundraiser support?
This year’s Hunger fundraiser presented by DefSup, will be helping to support the phase II transition | renovations, into our exciting new industrial gallery | performance complex space, located in the Cumberland Cinema 5 building. Also, our annual multi-disciplinary contemporary arts, and educational / new generation | youth programming. As well, our special developmental production & tour funding, directed towards professional musicians/performance artists.

Definitely Superior Art Gallery / aka DefSup is an award-winning, non-profit/charitable/non-commercial Artist-Run Centre & Gallery, established in 1988. Our role is to support the development of contemporary art, and the artists that produce it. The mandate goes beyond presenting visual art exhibitions, and extends into multi-disciplinary activities. We work to provide and increase opportunities for the research, production, presentation, promotion and dissemination of the work of artists.
