The Earth Day concert is all about the music of the spheres—in particular, our own! We glance back at winter with Mark Dancigers’ misty tone poem, Snow, then move into Aaron Copland’s glorious Appalachian Spring. We’ll explore Verdi’s expansive Spring from his Four Seasons, and close with Beethoven’s masterful Symphony no. 4 in B-Flat Major—one of the finest musical expressions evoking Earth’s sublime complexity and majesty!
