TBSO Masterworks: Voices of the Earth

The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra’s Masterworks concert Voices of the Earth takes place Thursday, February 28 at 8:00 pm at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium.
Of Navajo-Ute heritage, R. Carlos Nakai is the world’s premier performer on the Native American flute. Hear Nakai weave ancient echoes of native songs with extraordinary symphonic music from north and south America. You’ll be awed this concert that explores the roots of North American music: a sonic tapestry expressing awe, thankfulness and reverence for the natural world.
Start your evening with TBSO’s Masterworks series Pre-concert Chat hosted by TBSO’s Resident Conductor, Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser. Chats start at 7:10 pm in the TBCA mezzanine lobby and are open to all concert ticket holders. Pre-concert chats are designed to enlighten and entertain you with facts and surprises that will maximize your enjoyment of the concert experience.
