TBSO Masterworks 2: Four Masters

$20 – $45The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra’s second Masterworks concert Four Masters takes place Thursday, November 8 at 8:00 pm at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium.
James Sommerville, Music Director of the Hamilton Philharmonic and Principal Horn of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, joins the TBSO to conduct this Master-filled program, as well as delight as soloist in Mozart’s Horn Concerto No. 3. The concert repertoire features Wagner, Stravinksy, Mozart, and Haydn – four renowned classical composers, with Sommerville is the pre-eminent horn player in the world today.
Start your evening with TBSO’s Masterworks series Pre-concert Chat hosted by TBSO’s Resident Conductor, Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser. Chats start at 7:10 pm in the TBCA mezzanine lobby and are open to all concert ticket holders. Pre-concert chats are designed to enlighten and entertain you with facts and surprises that will maximize your enjoyment of the concert experience.
