34th ANNUAL Indigenous Cultural Traditions Club PowwowThe Indigenous Cultural Traditions Club (formerly the Lakehead University Native Student Association) is excited to be hosting their 34 th Annual Powwow at the CJ Sanders Fieldhouse, March 8-10, 2024.ICTC is honoured to have Rolling Thunder as the Host Drum. Lakehead University students and the Thunder Bay community will gather together in celebration of Indigenous culture and dance.Warm-ups will be held on Friday, March 8 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Grand Entry is scheduled for 1 pm and 6 pm on Saturday, March 9 with a Traditional Feast being served at 5:00 pm and the powwow will wrap up for the day at 9:00 pm. Join Gerda as she embarks on a fantastical quest to save her childhood friend, Cei, and vanquish an icy-hearted villain.Cambrian Players is pleased to present the classic tale, The Snow Queen written by Charles Way and directed by Jessica Graham on March 6-9 & 13-16, 2024. This familiar tale is being conveyed in a new way and draws visual inspiration from the work of the late Marianne Wahl, a Cambrian Players Distinguished Service Award Recipient who designed Cambrian's staging of The Snow Queen in the 1980s. Join us at 818 Spring St. or catch our live stream on March 15th. Doors open at 7pm, the show starts at 7:30pm. Special Notes: We are offering a Pay What You May performance on March 7th and a Sensory Inclusive performance on March 13th.

We had so much fun with Badanai Theatre Co the last time they joined us, we’ve decided to do it again! This time, we’re going to take it up a notch with a Kennedy Centre-style production of Dolly Parton’s musical 9 to 5!! 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL tells the story of three women pushed to boiling point by their sexist and egotistical boss. Concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on their despicable supervisor, will the ladies manage to reform their office – or will events unravel when the CEO pays an unexpected visit?
