Based on Dickens’ 1843 Holiday Classic, this Canadian written 2015 adaptation of the classic follows Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser, as he learns one Christmas Eve that "every man has the power to do good". His life is changed for good following a ghostly visit from his former business partner, Jacob Marley; the warnings of the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come; and lessons from Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, Old Fezziwig, Scrooge’s sister Fan, nephew Fred, and the love of Scrooge’s life, Belle. There are some new scary bits, a few good laughs, a tender moment or two, and some surprises! It’s a fresh take on an old tale sure to thrill young and old alike.
Produced by special arrangement with the playwright.
PLEASE NOTE: Cambrian Players is currently not wheelchair accessible.
