The Green Room Series: Straight White Men

Cambrian Players 818 Spring St, Thunder Bay, ON, Canada

We're so excited to announce the return of our GREEN ROOM series, where we present staged readings of shows you're less likely to see on the Cambrian main stage. They may be controversial, edgy, or experimental – and we love sharing them with you in these one-night-only events.

What's a staged reading? The actors will have scripts in hand and minimal props and furniture, but the show will be presented from start to finish.

Join us on March 25 for Straight White Men by Young Jean Lee.

When Ed and his three adult sons come together to celebrate Christmas, they enjoy cheerful trash-talking, pranks, and takeout Chinese. Then they confront a problem that even being a happy family can't solve: When identity matters, and privilege is problematic, what is the value of being a straight white man?
