The Oras Chamber Choir will present their final concert of the 2015-16 season on Saturday, June 4th at 8:00 PM. In this concert the OCC will perform Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem with internationally acclaimed concert organist Pétur Sakari from Finland. This monumental and dramatic setting of the Requiem text is a true masterpiece among twentieth century choral works. Also programmed are complementary works by Arvo Pärt and Leevi Madetoja.

NOTE: On Sunday, June 5th at 8:00 PM, Pétur Sakari will perform a solo organ recital of 19th and 20th century French and Finnish organ works. Pétur Sakari is regarded internationally as master interpreter of French organ music.
