Were you sad that all the other open mic comedy nights in town were only on Mondays, Fridays, or Saturdays, but you only had Thursday nights off and could never attend them? Well guess what? You guessed it (and if you didn’t guess it by this point, I’m greatly disappointed in you because it’s honestly quite obvious what I’m about to say), open mic comedy is coming to The Itai EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT!
As of February 6th, Laughton & Cunningham along with City Wide Sound will be doing an open mic comedy and karaoke night every Thursday and ANYONE can sign up! Yes, even you, Greg. YES, I CAN SEE YOU, GREG!…anyway.
Need a couple drinks in you to build some courage first? Well that’s why the open mic and karaoke are in a bar, you little silly billy. If you thought drinking to build courage was depressing, just wait until you meet the comedians because yeeeeesh, it can get sad sometimes. My GOD are they ever lonely little creatures.
Sign up for the open mic will start at 8:30pm and the show will start at 9:00pm, just look for the sad guy in a toque who looks like he never had a dad. Karaoke will start as soon as the open mic is through and the host is done crying into the microphone. SEE YOU THERE!
