The Live from the Rock Folk Festival is an annual music and arts festival located on the beautiful shore of Lake Superior in Red Rock, Ontario. It is a grassroots festival run by approximately 200 dedicated volunteers, supported by the Township of Red Rock as well as numerous sponsors and donors. Live from the Rock offers world class music on daytime workshop-style stages, as well as an evening concert lineup on the main Festival Stage.
This year’s line up includes: Alexis Campagne, Connie Calder, Genevieve Racette, Ian Tamblyn, Irish Millie, Jada Siwak, JD Crosstown, Just Prince, John Moorhead, Lonesome Ace Stringband, Loughlin, Medusa, Noah Derksen, Sara Kae, Sophie Lukas, The Bustle, The Janzen Boys and The Pairs.
There is also an Artisan Village, a Food Court, morning yoga, and opportunities to get out on Lake Superior either paddling a Voyaguer canoe or on a charter tour boat.
Camping adjecent to the festival grounds is available on a first come first served basis. $25 camping passes are only sold at the Main Gate – cash, debit or credit. Gate opens at noon on Thurs. Aug. 8th for camping only. Campers must have a festival weekend pass.
