From a dream to reality – the community of Thunder Bay is planning to bring together traditional hand-drummers from all walks of life. The purpose of this gathering is to promote healing for our people. Our goal is to have 500 hand-drummers beating to the heartbeat of Mother Earth.
This first-time event for Thunder Bay is being organized by Frances Wesley and 500 Hand Drummers Planning Committee.
The beat of the drum will be heard across the nation.
We invite all hand-drummers (young and old) to join us on Mother’s Day, May 8, 2016 to gather, to heal and to celebrate.
