FORT FEST – July 17 + 18

$20 – $45Fort William Historical Park’s amphitheatre will be rocking as it hosts Fort Fest; a community music festival taking place July 17 & 18. Taking the stage will be Bret Michaels, Loverboy, Blue Oyster Cult, Great White, Harlequin, The Romantics, Tommy Tutone plus a variety of local talent.

Fort Fest is a two-day family friendly music festival; gates open Friday, July 17 at 5pm and Saturday, July 18 at 12pm with entertainment to 11pm both nights. Nightly 19+ After Parties to follow at the David Thompson Astronomical Observatory from 11pm-1am, $10 per night. Weekend RV camping will be available. New for 2015, Fort William Historical Park has RV rentals. Two night minimum stay and weekend pass required for camping during Fort Fest weekend. Fort William Historical Park’s historic site will be fully operational for guests to enjoy throughout festival weekend. Is this a licensed event?
There is a designated liquor licensed area on the Amphitheatre grounds Friday and Saturday night. Must be 19+ and have valid photo ID to enter these areas.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, pets are not allowed at this event. Pets are allowed in the campground only.
Are patrons allowed to bring in water or food?
Sorry, no outside food or beverages (no coolers) are allowed into the festival grounds. A variety of food and beverages will be available for sale. If you have allergies or special food requirements please contact the Visitor Experience Coordinator prior to your arrival, 807-473-2357.
What happens if it rains?
The festival is a go rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.
How much does parking cost?
Parking for this event is free.
Is there a reserved area for people with disabilities?
Fort William Historical Park offers a variety of parking, on-site transportation and viewing accommodations for people with disabilities.
Can I use Interac or pay by credit card?
There is an ATM onsite. All vendors on the festival grounds accept cash only.
What should I bring?
Patrons should bring lawn chairs, blankets, bug spray, sun screen and umbrella.
Can I bring my camera?
Cameras are permitted to take photos of the festivities, you may not take photos of the bands performing.
Is there shuttle service?
There is no off-site shuttle service available. City transit is available Friday and Saturday, please visit www.thunderbay.ca for transit schedule.
