Sounds of the Season is back! And this time we’re taking it to the Wasaya Hangar! This holiday season, CBC Thunder Bay, the Regional Food Distribution Association, and Wasaya Airways are aiming sky-high with a food and cash donation drive.
The goal? Fill this plane with at least 10,000 lbs of food– plus cash donations!
On December 9th the goal is to fly the aircraft to Sandy Lake First Nation (about 600 KM northwest of Thunder Bay) and unload the donations in the community.
You can drop off donations at our CBC Studios on Miles Street or at the RFDA offices
Come and join us starting at 6 am for festive fun. We will be at the Wasaya Airways Hanger 201 Kelner Place at the Airport.
