……..this show is gonna kick so much fuckin ass!!!!……Metalblade’s CATTLE DECAPATATION, PSYOPUS, and ROSE FUNERAL are all comin to kilroys on saturday april 11th !!….this will be one of the best metal shows of the year, so don’t miss this fuckin show !.
CATTLE DECAPATATION has forged its not-so-humble beginnings in veggie gore-grind into one of extreme metal’s most relentless forces, encompassing a sound as schizophrenic as their record collections but with a determined lyrical stance resolutely damning the ills of humanity. With 5 full-lengths and countless tours under their belt as well as having influenced the majority of today’s rapidly-growing-in-popularity death/grind hopefuls, CATTLE DECAPITATION continue their own brand of spastic gore-drenched grinding death with their 4th Metal Blade release, “The Harvest Floor” for release on January 20th, 2009. Fusing 2006’s “Karma.Bloody.Karma” writing style with a much anticipated update in technicality, production and brutality, “The Harvest Floor” will undoubtedly be a milestone in the ever-diversifying metal scene that is now dominating the globe.

PSYOPUS create heart attack-inducing, grinding metal, that conjures up whirlwinds and tidal waves of absurd guitar work, harsh vocal onslaughts and hypersonic rhythm bombardment that takes the term ‘tech’ to an entirely new level. Crushing and outlandish yet perfectly concise, Psyopus gives us a glimpse into the calamity and anguish of a tortured psyche. Both eccentric and unprecedented, Psyopus may be Steve Vai’s answer to tech-metal, coalescing equal parts metallic grindcore and speed metal mixed with all-out shred. Composed of bi-polar dynamics, radical arrangements, avant-garde instrumentation and a melting force of pure speed, Psyopus set out to destroy the molds of extreme metal with unprecedented attitude and conviction.

ROSE FUNERAL bring fast paced riffs, bone crushing breakdowns, and just the right amount of melody to make the group brutal yet still catchy. Rose Funeral has built a sizeable fan base over the past few years in their hometown and across the US and Canada. This band is determined to tour nonstop. They’ve endured countless DIY shows and tours even as many of their peers have struggled to tour at all. Their style of death metal and their unquenchable drive to be successful has helped them rise among the ranks of the finest in underground American metal bands. Their numerous regional and national tours helped gained the attention of Metal Blade Records and by early 2008, they had landed a deal. Since then, Rose Funeral has been hard at work continuing to tour across North America as well as writing their Metal Blade debut. The Resting Sonata is the title of that debut and will, no doubt, solidify them as one of the best up and coming young death metal bands in the US.
