Blues Shakedown Reserved Table Presale Announcement
We are continuing to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Thunder Bay Blues Society (TBBS) with our inaugural Blues Shakedown event at the Da Vinci Centre on Saturday October 21. To show our appreciation for TBBS members we are doubling down for this event by offering both a reduced ticket price of $50 AND reserved seating. THIS TICKET PRESALE IS AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY FOR TBBS MEMBERS…BUT FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY!! No need to worry if you are running late for the Blues Shakedown Saturday October 21…seats at your table will be waiting for you upon your arrival!
As ticket demand is expected to be high for Blues Shakedown, each TBBS member will be limited to a maximum purchase of 4 tickets (remember joint memberships are entitled to 8 tickets which can fill an entire table). Once the TBBS member presale is over, general admission tickets (with no reserved seating) will be available at ticket outlets (subject to availability) starting September 25 at $65 per ticket.
Starting Saturday SEPTEMBER 9 and ending Saturday SEPTEMBER 23 (sooner if all seats are sold) the Thunder Bay Blues Society (TBBS) will be taking reserved table requests for groups of 2/4/6/8, which is exclusive to TBBS members only. To book seats at a reserved table for your group, e mail TBBS President Rob Croves at rcroves@shaw.ca no earlier than September 9 and no later than September 23, 2023. In order to be fair to all our TBBS members, any requests received before Saturday September 9 will not be accepted.
A FLOOR PLAN WITH TABLE NUMBERS WILL BE RELEASED THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 7 VIA E-MAIL AND ON THE TBBS WEBSITE, FACEBOOK AND TBBS FACEBOOK GROUP PAGES.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE REQUESTS FOR GROUPS OF 1, 3, 5, 7.
• Groups of 2 will be seated with groups of 6 OR together at pre-designated tables (make new friends!!) $100• Groups of 4 will be seated together randomly (as table availability dictates) $200• Groups of 6 will be seated together randomly with groups of 2 (make new friends!!) $300• Groups of 8: THE ENTIRE TABLE IS YOURS!! $400
Be sure to indicate:A) number in your group (2/4/6/8)B) your top 4 preferred table numbers for groups of 4/6/8C) contact name and preferred method of communication going forward (ie-text, phone, e-mail).
All requests will be contacted back in order by the date and time that they were received; confirmation of your e-mail request will be received within 12 hours.
Your confirmation e-mail will include instructions for payment and table number held for you pending payment. Payment must be by e-transfer (preferred) or cash…no cheques or credit cards accepted. Reservation is not final until payment is received (no holds over 48 hours).
Please keep in mind seating multiple group sizes can be a complicated process as demand is expected to be high for this event. We will try to accommodate everyone to the best of our ability. The earlier you send in your request starting September 9, the greater the chance of receiving one of your requested tables.
The fine print: All sales final (no refunds unless the entire event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control); purchaser is responsible for all tickets purchased for their group; PURCHASER MUST BE A CURRENT MEMBER OF TBBS (if you are not currently a TBBS member, membership is quite reasonable at $15/single or $20/couple, and can be purchased at the same time as your group reservation)
Any unsold tables after September 23 will be released as “General Admission Tables” and will be designated as “rush seating” for general admission attendees.General Admission Advance Tickets go on sale (subject to availability) to the public Monday September 25 at locations to be announced by Friday September 22.
