What is a Bio ? And why do we feel the need to tell people when the band was formed , when we had a great show , when we put out a CD etc.
It is all important for people, fans and potential fans alike to get a feel for the band .. Having something to read on the out side of the cereal box as you chow down or listen to the music in this case.
But that really doesn’t tell you who we are …. We were formed in 2005, we recorded our EP in 2006, okay but who are you … collectively we really are Ashland Court , four guys that love to make music, we get paid to play and we know it has everything to do with you the fans …
We have become great friends , brothers , and all though we have our moments of tormenting each other we are a family… We have a huge respect for each other as musicians and as friends, The fact that the four of us can and do spend weeks together without really much of a break and we haven’t killed each other is amazing .. We bomb around this huge ass country of ours in a van with so much gear we barely have room for the four of us to move let alone sit comfortably…
We have made so many friends its crazy, its all these people that we have met because of our music .. So who are we… We are Ashland Court If you need to know if there is meaning to the songs, I will tell you this . Every thing we write is positive in one way or another . We believe in good karma, good times and many, many friends .. As far as the other stuff goes like when our new CD will be done ? … we’ll let you know Cheers
