Canadian Music Week and at Austin’s South By Southwest conference this past March. Most recently The Ladies and Gentlemen performed a sold-out showcase at Toronto’s North By Northeast where they were presented with the CBC’s 5th annual Galaxie Rising Stars Award.
So if you ever see a bunch of guys clad in white onstage, playing some of the most brilliant indie pop you’ve heard in quite a while, they’re not just a band of moonlighting milkmen. They’re merely one of the best things to happen to Canadian indie rock in recent memory.
