Cambrian Players presents our second Green Room production of our 75th season – Scenes from an Execution by Howard Baker, directed by Jordan Blaxill.

Our Green Room shows are presented as staged readings, bringing a unique authenticity as our actors take to the stage with scripts in hand. With only three or four rehearsals prior to hitting the stage, these shows deliver a spontaneous experience for both the performers and the audience.

Set in sixteenth-century Venice, the free-spirited Galactia is commissioned to paint a vast canvas celebrating the triumphant Battle of Lepanto. In her fierce determination to stay true to herself, she alienates the authorities, her friends, her family, and faces surprising and dangerous consequences.
