The GERDAN Theatre Returns to Canada with the Largest Tour in the History of Ukrainian Performers!

So ours, so sincere, so familiar, so alive — the singers of GERDAN are bringing with them an entirely new program, a new album and new emotions, as well as songs that you have already fell in love with!

After researching Ukrainian traditions and folklore for over 30 years, they don’t just sing folk songs! They live through each song and show you the most delicate moments of Ukrainian art and the strongest pages of Nation’s History!

The Theatre Gerdan from Chernivtsi, Bukovyna, Ukraine will bring to Canada an entire era, a whole cultural layer, and an entire Ukrainian folk-world! Each concert will immerse you in this world together with 16 powerful voices that will sing straight to your heart!

For the most extensive Canadian tour in the history of a Ukrainian ensemble, we partnered with one of the largest charities supporting Ukraine. The funds raised at the GERDAN Theatre’s concerts will support the initiatives of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation: the Canada-Ukraine Surgical Aid Program and Aid for Artists.
