Chuck Taylor High top Ballads; Digital art rock anthems.
Walking through a glowing cityscape drinking good red wine from a coke can; the music of Tofu Stravinsky is your soundtrack to the beginning of a perfect night. Their songs are true-life indie anthems packed with soul and power that hits like a sucker punch straight to the heart. On stage and in the studio, the dynamic, soulful vocals of Sarah Orton grab you by both ears while synth-scapes swirl around timeless electric twang and relentless groove. Having shared the stage with the likes of SLOAN, two-time Juno award winner Alex Cuba, Hey Ocean! and the Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra, Tofu Stravinsky feels right at home under big lights, and are quickly making a name for themselves amongst the ranks of Canada’s finest musicians. In the last 12 months Tofu has been from the Pacific to the Atlantic and back again, shared headlines
with Arcade Fire, and won “Artist of the year” at the 2014 Kootenay music awards. Their much anticipated follow up to the 2013 release BTTRMLK, titled Fondue will be the feather in the cap of an incredible year for the band. With the work ethic of artists from yesteryear, it’s easy to see
how bright the future is for these five dedicated musicians.

Since 2005, Forever Dead have released two full length albums, a hand full of EP’s, and endured long hours down lonely highways. In the years since forming, the band has hit roadblocks, dead ends and has undergone a few personality changes, but now stands on solid ground with Chelsea Heart (vocals), George Gratz (bass), Gratzo (guitar), and Tyler T. Destroyer (drums). A powerful and energetic presence with a cocktail of influences from punk, rock, psychobilly, ska and just about any other genera, FD! appeals to a broad and eclectic audience, or anyone who has a thirst for kick ass Rock’N’Roll.
