Consortium Aurora Borealis is thrilled to welcome back the highly-acclaimed Ensemble Made in Canada, joined by guest violinist Scott St. John, in “Passionate Piano Quintets”, with another display of sweeping romanticism, impeccable technique, and “a dazzling blaze of virtuoso musicianship.” Having created a sensation in 2015 with “Passionate Piano Quartets”, they will now perform quintets for piano and strings by Schumann and Dvořák, as well as a short Schumann piece for cello and piano.
Angela Park, piano; Elissa Lee, Scott St. John violin; Sharon Wei, viola; Rachel Mercer, cello.
