Canada Day on the Waterfront 2018

FreeCome celebrate Canada Day on the Waterfront, Thunder Bay’s biggest annual one-day event, presented by Ontario Power Generation!
We have two full stages this year, both with great line-ups of musical guests and talented cultural performers. You’ll also find performances and demonstrations by community groups and local organizations throughout Marina Park. There will be activities for the whole family. Programming runs from 4:30 – 11 pm, culminating in the area’s biggest fireworks display. Admission to the Canada Day Celebrations on the Waterfront is FREE!
**Note** Marina Park will be closed to vehicle traffic on Canada Day. No personal fireworks or alcohol are permitted on-site. Everyone is encouraged to take advantage of free off-site parking and shuttles.

There will be new performances every 30-40 minutes by a diverse range of local talents at three stages:

• Baggage Building Waterfront Stage

FOOD
From 5:00pm – 11:00pm local food vendors will be serving your favourite foods and snacks at various locations throughout the Park! Bight Restaurant will be open from 11:30am – Midnight.
SHUTTLES & PARKING
FREE shuttle buses will run 4:30pm – 12:30am to Marina Park from:
• Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre (700 River Street)
• Intercity Shopping Centre (Stop 1006/1103)
FREE parking available downtown in the Court Street Parkade (18 N. Court St).
INFORMATION STATIONS
There will be three information stations open to answer questions and provide maps and schedules during the celebrations at the following locations:
• near the Camelot pedestrian entrance
• near the Baggage Building Arts Centre
• near the Boaters Parking Lot
