This will be a Special make up screening for the cancelled “Thunder Bay Premiere” at Tumblestone 8th Annual Pigroast /Music & Art Festival (due to time)As though we would have loved to do the screening during the festival… But figured it was better to pull it, and reschedule …so we can focus on it…and try our best to get this film seen by as many as we can.Alas,we are happy to announce that Vox Popular Media Arts Festival will be teaming up with Tumblestone, and Black Pirates Pub…for the (now) “Official Thunder Bay Premiere”For fans of grindcore, metal, music, film, art, and history.Don’t miss out on this opportunity to view this film, as you won’t get another chance… unless you buy it after it’s release.
Banger Films and Metal Injection have both spent the past several years on this effort. Presented by Death by Digital: Slave to the Grind puts this loud, chaotic world of noise into perspective, from the words of the artists themselves, to the many stylistic threads that run through the sound’s insane machinery.
The film was assembled using contributed footage generated from a loyal community of fans, and fiends alike.Nearly 1,000 hours of raw fan concert footage was submitted….conducted nearly 100 hours of interviews with 72 subjects from around the globe.A project of this magnitude was made possible because of the support from the bands featured and the fans since the first day.
The film is a super big deal if you know anything about metal, or just music in general. We are so pleased to have this other opportunity, and share this presentation in partnership with all parties.JOIN / SHARE / INVITE YOUR FRIENDS 🙂
