Nothing says winter more than sports. But this year the TBSO brings sports inside. We start with Abigail Richardson-Schulte’s musical take on Roch Carrier’s The Hockey Sweater, a great piece performed by orchestras across Canada. The other sports piece on the program is Casey at the Bat, a lively piece of music with echoes of cheering crowds and the sounds of bats hitting balls.
