So what is LUMA?
The Lakehead Music Association (LUMA) is a student led association with 25 members, all of whom love and support the arts.
Our organization runs events for musicians and music lovers alike throughout the academic year like bonfires, game nights, potlucks, karaoke nights (which is happening in the near future!) and many other events including LUMAPALOOZA. Our goal is to fundraise for not only our club, but for our program and other local musicians who can benefit through our organization. Though the club is run by music majors, it is not exclusive to them and others are able (and encouraged) to join as well. With the funds raised we will continue to host great events for our club members, and hope to be able to contribute to our rich artistic community to continue the cultivation of the arts in Thunder Bay.
