Come out and enjoy a night with local poets and live acoustic music. Yes, we still have Birthday Cake provided for the guests during the evening!
About:PN-RAP has featured both emerging and established poets from Thunder Bay and occasionally from across Canada. It has become a hub for the poetry community and an entry point for new voices. A place for people to enjoy one of the oldest arts.
The second portion of the evening is a musical performance featuring 3 local musicians in the round that entertain in a plethora of music genres and their own custom performance style.
The Prince Arthur Portside Lounge, located on 17 North Cumberland Street, Thunder Bay provides us with a comfortable venue and a great feature menu for the evening – seating is limited to 35 spectators. The atmosphere compliments our welcoming nature and family style seating.
Everyone (ages 19+) is welcome and encouraged to participate by registering for a stage spot, mingling with us, or simply applauding.
