The Best of The Best Karaoke Contest presented by The Foundry and Hosted by City Wide Sound.
The contest will take place at The Foundry 242 Red River Road Thunder Bay, Ontario P7B 1A6
Qualifying rounds are Tuesday September 27 and Tuesday October 4, 2016 starting at 9pm.
Competition will run every Tuesday after from October 18 – December 6, 2016.
This karaoke competition will feature non-professional performers. Theme nights are predetermined in order to challenge the competitors and push them out of their comfort zone. The finale of the competition (Saturday December 10, 2016) boasts a variety of entertainment throughout the evening including: 3 performances from our finalist (1 with a live band), local bands, a touring band, and DJ Big D.
Competitors will be critiqued weekly by professional musicians and vocalists in order to legitimize the competitive nature of this contest. Having guidance from these professional musicians also assists in the individual growth of the competitor’s performances.
Competitors will be performing for the chance to win CASH prizes valued at:
1st place: $1000.00 + Swag Bag
2nd place: $500.00 + Swag Bag
3rd place: $250.00 + Swag Bag
The judges will also be choosing a weekly MVP “Most Valued Performance” who will receive a swag bag sponsored by Sleeping Giant Brewery.
Proceeds from The Foundry’s Deep Fried Pickle and Desserts Menu will be going to The Thunder Bay District Humane Society.
