**~DANCE FOR A CURE: A Cancer Benefit for the Zachary Family~**
Saturday November 9th @ The Foundry (242 Red River Road)

*After her ankle pain was misdiagnosed for roughly 7 years in Thunder Bay and Toronto as Avascular Necrosis then Osteomyelitis, Janna Zachary and her family turned to The Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota for help. She felt the doctors she was seeing weren’t giving her the answers she needed after she had lost the ability to walk and was on crutches on and off for two years. The doctors at the Mayo Clinic had a proper diagnosis within a few days, which was then in retrospect co-confirmed in Thunder Bay and Toronto. The biopsy slides confirmed Janna has had lymphoma in her ankle all this time, a very rare presentation of this kind of cancer*.
*Janna is now faced with a large medical bill from the United States. This dance party will help to fund this bill. The Zachary family is very happy to have a proper diagnosis. Janna is currently going through chemotherapy to cure the lymphoma and is very happy to be walking again with minimal pain*.
