This year the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra’s Gala Ball takes you to An Enchanting Evening. This year’s Gala Ball takes place Saturday, March 2nd at 6pm in the Valhalla Inn’s Grand Ballroom.
Funds raised at this annual event support TBSO’s Youth and Education Programs, which include Musicians in the Classroom, Grade 3 Sing-Along, Side-by-Side with Thunder Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra, collaboration with the National Ballet’s YOU Dance, and concerts in schools in Thunder Bay and the region.
This is the only event in Thunder Bay where you can dance to the exceptional live music of the TBSO. New this year, the music will feature tunes from the Howard Cable Dance Book, including Under the Boardwalk, Glenn Miller Medley, Charleston Medley, Moonglow and many more!
During the fabulous five-course dinner created by the Valhalla’s chef, guests will be charmed by Thunder Bay pianist Danny Johnson, who will also join the TBSO after dinner. Other highlights of the evening include the silent auction, new wine pull, and great door prize.
