Marina Park & Water Street – Sunday, July 1 – 5:30 to 11:30 pm
Two main stages of entertainment. Activities for all ages. Your favourite food vendors! Thunder Bay’s Largest Annual Fireworks Show!
**GETTING TO THE SITE**
Water Street will be CLOSED from 5 pm to 7 pm
NO Parking in Marina Park on July 1
PARK n’ RIDE on the FREE shuttle bus to Marina Park (4:30 pm to 12:30 am) from:
Community Auditorium (1 Paul Shaffer Drive)
Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre (700 River Street)
Free Parking available in the Heart of the Harbour Parkade (18 N. Court Street) on July 1
Thunder Bay Transit is operating on Sunday service schedule. Transit service will run until 12:00 am to accommodate the Canada Day celebrations. View the Transit webpage for bus schedules.
Accessible Parking: Go over the Marina Park Overpass and turn left into the Park (towards Lake Superior). Parking Permit for Disabled required. Limited space is available.
**IMPORTANT INFO**
No personal fireworks or alcohol allowed in Marina Park
**PARADE**
The Canada Day Parade is back! Beginning at 6 pm, the Parade begins on Water St S near Fort William Road and enters Marina Park at the Pearl St entrance. All the floats and participants weave through the park, ending at the Marina Park Drive overpass by 6:30 pm. To enter a float, please complete the form below.
