One of the great romantic virtuosos, Canadian pianist, joins the TBSO in Tchaikovsky’s popular and technically demanding Piano Concerto No.1, among the best known of all piano concertos. Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 and its four-note opening remain the most electrifying music ever written and have made their mark all the way into popular culture. Come hear the incomparable original.
