Exceptional folk music needs no translation, as evidenced by Mauvais Sort’s International popularity. Mauvais Sort features an eclectic mix of folk, rock and pop music. Take the freewheeling jams of Quebec’s electrifying folk-dance tradition, add some horns and crank up the voltage : the result is Mauvais Sort. This group pumps up traditional French-Canadian jigs with bright brass and a tantalizing taste of world-beat rythms.
Bam is the art of comedy-percussion. The pulsating energy of BAM is contagious: through drumbeats and laugh, it overwhelms the audience. The BAM characters, who look like they walked straight out of a mad cartoon, speak a unique language: BAMspeach, spoken only by them, but understood by everyone from 3 to 83 years old. Add to this a transcultural humour and a lot of rhythm and you get a truly universal event.
Jojo invites you into her world of song and dance. She will take you on a fantastic adventure along with "Ordi" and their friends on the farm. Jojo offers original songs to an upbeat rythm, and a show punctuated with fantasy, humor and positive messages. Jojo à la ferme is very entertaining and imaginative. It is an invitation to sing, dream, laugh, dance and have fun.
