Gustav Mahler said “a symphony must be like the world- it must contain everything,” and that’s exactly what he intended his first symphony to do. Mahler begins with the first inert sounds of creation and takes us to the pinnacles of joy, the depths of despair, and everything in between. We welcome back one of our favourite pianists over the years, Jamie Parker, for a delightful Mozart concerto.
