SUBSTANCE started in the summer of 2009 with the goal of creating aggressive hardcore with a passion and purpose behind it. Some of us are straight edge; some of us are not. Some of us are vegetarian; some of us are not. We don't take on any subculture of the hardcore scene, but in stead try to embrace it as a whole by utilizing aggressive song styles backed with aggressive, positive, and emotionally driven lyrics.
