Direct from their critically-acclaimed European Tour, The Fugitives are also Slam Poet Champions of Canada, moving seamlessly from uplifting music to spoken word within their unforgettable live show - simply original West Coast cool! Art B-LAB also features: jazz by Robin Ranger on guitar with Dino Pepe on sax; blues/folk by singer/songwriter/guitarist Jason Lennstrom; performance art by The Empty Space collective; diverse spoken word, and Core 5 literary 'zine launch. All part of DefSup's “Urban Infill – Art in the Core” projects, that encourage you to discover – the “new art” filling “active places” and “empty spaces” – all happenin’ in downtown PA.
